A lot of people ask about the books I return to and recommend.

Reading has always been one of my most grounding habits.

Across the years, I observed myself evolving beyond speed-reading and productivity reading. Instead, just sitting with words that helped me see myself, my work and my patterns more clearly.

Some of these books challenged me to see things with new perspectives.

Some provided some comfort and stability when I feel low and in need of some wise words.

Some helped me to articulate eloquently what I could not do by myself.

Sharing a few that stayed with me this year and restarting this habit of showing up + sharing again, imperfectly but intentionally 💫

  1. The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer

This was first recommended to me by my coach. It taught me that I don’t have to believe every thought I have and that our mind is truly our loudest cheerleader and critic.

2. The Almanack of Naval Ravikant by Eric Jorgensen

This book explores wealth and happiness and helped me redefine success. It reminded me that real wealth isn’t just money, but time, freedom, and a calm mind. I return to it whenever hustle starts to feel heavy.

3. Never Enough: From Barista to Billionaire by Andrew Wilkinson

I often recommend this to achiever-type clients. It articulates how easy it is to chase success while quietly postponing happiness – and asks a question worth sitting with: When is enough, enough?

4. The Code of the Extraordinary Mind by Vishen Lakhiani

This book advocates something similar to what Neverdrift advocates for: questioning the scripts we live by. It reminds me that a meaningful life is something we consciously design, not something we stumble into.

5. You Are the One You’ve Been Waiting For by Richard C. Schwartz

This book applies Internal Family Systems to relationships (which I share with my clients). It taught me that relationships begin within – and that meeting my own inner parts with compassion makes it possible to love others without abandoning myself.

These five stayed with me this year for their wise perspectives on the different areas of my life. I’ll continue to share more recommendations in the upcoming year 🙂
