A quiet truth: We rarely pause to see how much we’ve actually grown.
1. When I ask myself: What did I learn about myself in 2025?
This year asked a lot of me and hence I also grew a lot.
I moved from 1) corporate into entrepreneurship 2) and navigated some unexpected family challenges.
Both stretched me to my edges. I met my most broken self and also my strongest self.
What I learnt is simple, but powerful:
A) I have always gotten myself through hard seasons. I’m far more resilient than I thought. Younger me would be proud :’)
Additionally, one thing that surprised me during my work transition was that in corporate life, structure and connection were inbuilt – meetings, routines, people, shared momentum.
When I stepped into entrepreneurship, I had to intentionally create that for myself.
I learnt this about how I thrive:
B) I need structure to create flow and connection to truly grow.
These are 2 things I hence need to intentionally design into my days to show up better.
Growth isn’t about doing more – it’s about aligning better. Direction > Speed.
2. When I ask myself: What key lessons from 2025 do I want to carry forward in 2026 and what will I consciously leave behind in 2025?
Carrying forward ->
• I have it in me to figure things out. Self-leadership is a daily practice I want to keep working on
• I don’t have to do life alone. In fact, I do have a strong support system to ask for help from
• Energy management > mere time management. Learning to recognize my signals + build tested response plans can change everything
Leaving behind ->
• No longer handing authority to the the voice that says “I’m not okay” when I know I am
• Releasing the need to over-perform to earn love or safety
• Loosening attachment to external energy sources like validation which pull me out of alignment and causes energy drains
2026 isn’t about doing more. It’s about leading myself better.
3. When I ask myself: If I only did 1-2 things consistently all year that would make the biggest difference, what would it be and what would that look like?
1. Movement as energy regulation
a) Walking regularly in nature
b) Strength and cardio a few times a week
c) Yoga/pilates intentionally for mobility, recovery, or light conditioning
2. Upgrading my thinking through learning and reflecting
a) 1–2 growth themes at a time
b) Learn -> reflect -> apply
c) Small behavior shifts over time as consistency > intensity
Momentum isn’t about speed. It’s about staying connected to what matters, even when life gets full.
